Wasn't too bad to put together but def would be better with 2 people but love it also bought end tablesPutting the hinge together was the hardest part. But I absolutely love this table. Well worth the money.It looks cute and hides my husbands junk!! The table top was a pain to put on. Save some aggravation and put the hinges on the dividers before you assemble the table. 16 little screws to put in sideways later- sucked. A board was less than perfect and no phone number to call. Most of the screw wells great-only 2 slightly off but able to get in. Much easier than some other pieces I’ve put together!The directions didn’t have details in written text, only pictures and verbiage to identify the part number you’re working with. Does not show front sides, back sides. I had to take some apart and redo it. It kind of was a guessing game. Directions were the worst. Product is awesomeStrong Sturdy, Adds a Rustic look to your living room!Good coffee table for the price.Convenient bottom shelf and the hidden storage is much more spacious than I thought. We can keep a decent sized fuzzy blanket and it still closes just fine.Assembly was a little frustrating when we were attaching the metal frame to the wood as the screw holes didn't line up perfectly. We had to untighten a few screws to adjust the frame. Overall it assembled in about an hour and a half with two people. Tools were included but we ended up using our electric screw driver to speed it up.The lift top is very sturdy and can hold a good amount of weight. We have it lift up towards the couch to use as a table. It's great for laptops or if you're eating in front of the TV.Definitely a great purchase and it looks nice too. Would recommend for a smaller living room for sure.Needed a smaller table for living room that my son can eat meals on while watching TV. This fit the bill perfectly.Assembly instructions did not specify things like which way a board should face to make sure holes were facing the right direction. Had to undo 10-15 minutes of work several times to rotate the boards.My husband leaned a hand on the top of the table tonight and put part of his body weight on it (190lbs) and the table top caved in. Yay.I bought this coffee table to go with the matching end tables. I could not be more please with this set. sturdy and will last for years to come. The extra storage of lifting table is a bonus and is perfect height when sitting on couch. If you decide on this coffee table the MUST haves to go with are the side tables. Shipping packaging is top notch, no way to get damaged in transit.Not hard to assemble but plan not clear. A month of utilization and so far very satisfied. Easy to lift and replace, good storage space and very versatile. We’ll see if it passes the test of time as the brackets used to lift the table are held by 8 small screws, but so far can’t complain.Great table, I do recommend. I just wish the front didn't arrive damaged and the back didn't have glue. Overall, it's great for the price. I added baskets under the table.
