I wrote to the seller to tell them that the pot is not 12 oz. They said they would try to change the product description, but so far, it looks like they haven't. I measured, and it's 10 oz if it's filled right to the brim, but more like 8 oz in practicality. That said, it's a nice pot, and creates a nice head of crema. Plus, it's pretty.Does the job, not a real high quality build, but what do you expect for the price? If you're looking at starting in Turkish coffee and don't want to break the bank go with this. If you are looking for a quality one look into Specialty Turkish Coffeeworks well you just have to be careful not to burn your hand on the metal handle if left to get to hot. Seems to heat up very quickly though and sturdy.Very light weight and makes a good cup of coffee. If it had a longer handle I would give it an extra star. Also, mine came with a chunk of the inside paint messed up, kind of like when wet nail polish gets hit, so the inside has an ugly section. You would think that the seller wouldn't want to sell it like this, but whatever. The pot is so nicely designed and very handy, but it is not a 12OZ pot it might be an 8-9 OZ not more, any way it do the job.I bought this for a friend who enjoys a good cup of coffee. This is the traditional type of pot used to make Greek/Turkish coffee. This friend was taught how to make this coffee and is enjoying the results. This is just what I was looking to find for him. It is well made and should serve him well.Good for making coffee for two demitasse cups, which was what I was expecting despite the title saying five so I'm satisfied.Just a little over priced but good quality
